Do you think Games are just about unintelligent pressing of buttons? Think again.........
Many Games that are available now a days are a hard shell to crack if you don't have enough brains or logic
In fact these games are helping in increasing the intel of kids to quite a nice level
1. World Of Goo
This fun-filled game, an indie game designed by 2D Boy, is all about physics and trusses
It has a puzzle essence to it too.... Thus every level is filled with a twist
The story is about balls of go, which astonishingly are damn cute, as they journey around the world
They are very inquisitive and will make you do quite many feats for them
If anyone is studying architecture then this game is a must have for them cuz along with playing you'll get a very good practice of balancing structures
In this game you might have to build towers and bridges at primary stages.... Then as game progresses you'll be presented with puzzles for which you'll have to innovate your own ideas
In the entire story an unknown character namely the sign painter will guide you giving you tiny hints
The Music of this game is one of the best game music I've heard
The artwork of the game is soft and isn't too bright to the eyes
One of my favorite part was the custom cursor in the game
Well all I can say is that this game is so Goo-ed, I mean Good that it can keep anyone glued to their PCs for hours

2. Bookworm Adventure 1 and 2
After success of the original game one would have doubted for any scope of improvement at all
Bookworm was the perfect Word making game
Technically its not a sequel, Its a spin-off game..... But still PopCap games should be commended for making the game more kid-friendly
The Bookworm from the original game 'Lex' is the protagonist of the spin off
He is sent inside the story of a book to Oracle when she calls for help
Now only Lex, with his word making power can defeat the enemies and rescue her
There is a combat essence in the game which makes it more fun to play
It can be called a beat 'em up in a sense too
As we defeat each boss (each level has one) we get treasures
We can select any three treasures before going into the battle
Many times the treasure we choose can decide our victory or loss
Another great feature of the game is the Gem Tiles
In original game when we made a long enough word we used to get a bonus tile
Likewise in this game we get Gem Tiles (Different Gem for different length)
These Gem tiles can be used during combat to put additional damage on the foe
The combat taunts and the description of the foe are very hilarious and add to the witty silliness caused by Lex
There are also inclusion of Mini Games where you're presented with some Word Puzzles
If you like Lex and his Word chomping habits from Bookworm then feel free to try it out
You can even play it online HERE
3. Nightmare Adventures: The Witch's Prison
This game, published by BigFishGames is about puzzles, puzzles and puzzles
Its story of a girl as she's trying to discover the truth about her ancestral heritage that she's just recieved
During the story the girl hears a voice time to time which is calling her
The protagonist is really intrigued with whats going on
Inside of the game you'll find all sorts of puzzles
It took me 30 mins just to figure out how to enter the house in second level
We even have to do lil witch magic (about which we read in a book) at a certain level
The protagonist keeps a camera and notes all important things by taking a snap.... so one should keep checking it in case of being stuck
You can skip some puzzles too but I'll advice not to as every puzzle is unique and you might like to check everyone out
But the devs have left the game at a very mysterious point.....everyone would keep being puzzled with the same question ....'what next?'
I think this game really deserves a sequel
These were just few of the brainy games
Do you have more games you wanna share?
Feel free to comment and share
